Santa Teresa is home to some of the best surf beaches in Costa Rica. Catch world-class waves on long, sandy beaches with clear blue water in surf conditions suitable for all experience levels. Surf lessons in Santa Teresa are personalized to your skill level, needs, and goals in a very small, hands-on group—one instructor to no more than two students!
Learn from the best; our qualified instructors have been riding waves for decades and teaching for over 14 years. Want to experience a lesson from a champion surfer? Gillbert Brown and our special instructors available by request. Beginners will learn to stand up and direct their board while more advanced surfers can fine tune their skills under our instructors guidance. We make the challenge of learning to surf enjoyable and safe for all ages.
Bring a rash guard, sun block, and swim suit. We’ll provide a surf board and the best waves for you to ride, year-round!
Fishing
Has your Costa Rican adventure felt like it is going to fly by? Perhaps you’re looking for a break to take in all of the beauty of your surroundings and absorb the new experiences of your travels. The serenity of deep sea fishing is just what you need. You will experience the refreshing sea salt spray on your face, and the peace of the ocean against the back drop of the white sand shoreline and wild Costa Rican jungles as you cast out for salt fish, tuna, marlin and mahi mahi. Closer to ashore you can catch tuna, snapper, jascks mackerel, snook and more for dinner, which your crew will cut and clean for you. If you don’t want to find your sea legs but enjoy the peace of casting a line, line fishing off the rocks on land is available as well.
